Holy Family Cristo Rey is “The School that Works!” Every student attending the private, college preparatory high school in Ensley earns 70 percent of his/her tuition by working a paid entry-level internship at Birmingham area businesses one day a week during the school year. Students compensate for time spent outside the classroom by going to school for extended days the remainder of the week and for a longer school year than public school students.

Principal's Reception
Holy Family Cristo Rey's new principal, Bob Larcher, was honored at a reception held at St. Paul's on August 19th. Cristo Rey faculty, staff, and board members were all in attendance. Friends of the school and other Birmingham-area religious leaders were also there to support Holy Family Cristo Rey.
